Alle Jahre wieder kommt die SNEAKERNESS …

Wie versprochen wollen wir euch über unsere gestrigen Besuche der „Sneakerness Cologne“ und der Ausstellungs-Eröffnung des Berliner Adidas-Enthusiasten „Quote“ im Sneakermuseum in Köln berichten.

Wie jedes Jahr waren auch heuer wieder alle kleinen und großen Sneakerläden aus dem In- und Ausland vertreten. Darüber hinaus natürlich auch eine leider nur kleinere Zahl an Sammlern, die ihre Schätze zum Verkauf anboten. Neben den gängigen, aktuellen Sneakern der bekannten Label, gab es leider – wie auch schon im Jahr zuvor – viel zu wenige nennenswerte Highlights. Die Begeisterung hielt sich somit leider in Grenzen. Vor allem als Adidas-Fetischist konnte man kaum wirkliche Juwelen erblicken. Positiv stachen hier jedoch noch die Jungs von „Overkillshop“ und „Berlin Groundet“ heraus, die die ein oder andere Vintage-Rarität an ihrem Stand präsentierten. Auch für Sammler anderer Marken gab es nur wenig, was wirklich ins Auge sprang. Unser Fazit: Adidas eher wenig vertreten und wirkliche Highlights auch anderer Hersteller viel zu wenig vorhanden. Schade!

Entschädigt wurde man dann allerdings durch das zweite Sneaker-Event an diesem Tag – die Eröffnung von Quotes Adidas Vintage Ausstellung im Sneakermuseum Köln. Wer Quote und seine Sammlung kennt, dem war klar, dass hier einige (nicht nur emotionale) echte Kostbarkeiten zu sehen sein werden. Auch wenn die Räumlichkeiten relativ waren, stellte sich der Besuch dieser Vernissage als echtes lohnenswertes Highlight heraus! Allein der Anblick unzähliger Modelle der City-Series war einfach überwältigend und nur dafür hätte sich der Besuch gelohnt. Abgerundet wurde das Ganze jedoch von jeder Menge Gimmicks und Accessoires – grandios! Das schicke Ambiente der Ausstellungseröffnung sorgte für die Vollendung einer rundum gelungen Sache. Daumen hoch!
